# Alignment

> Review and confirm the data inferred by the platform before generating the opportunity report.

Alignment is the step where you join the conversation. The platform makes inferences, but you know your app better than anyone — and the final report is built from your confirmed responses, not automatic assumptions.

This step exists to ensure the opportunity analysis reflects the product's real intent, not just what the code suggests from afar.

## Why confirm the data?

Discovery extracts information directly from the repository, but code and product intent don't always perfectly align. A repository may have experimental features that don't represent the product core, or use technical names that don't translate well to the market.

  The Opportunity Report is generated exclusively from the data you confirm in this step. No unconfirmed inferences are used in the final report.

## What you review

A form presents the fields for confirmation. The fields reviewed in this step are:

* **Problem Solved** — the main pain point the app addresses
* **Target Audience** — who the product was built for
* **Differentiator** — what makes your app stand out from alternatives
* **Wow Moment** — the moment when the product's value becomes clear to the user
* **Use Case** — the most important concrete usage scenario
* **Alternative Solution** — what users would do without your app
* **Main Feature** — the central feature supporting the value proposition
* **Competitors** — products competing in the same market space

## How to confirm or edit a field

    For each field, the platform shows the value it automatically identified during Discovery. Read carefully before confirming.

  <Step title="Confirm or edit">
    If the value is correct, click **Confirm** to proceed. If it's wrong or incomplete, edit the field directly in the form and then confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Move to the next field">
    Click **Next** to go to the following field. Repeat until all fields are reviewed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Complete the alignment">
    After the last field, Alignment is marked as **Completed** and the Report generation starts automatically.

## Tips for more useful answers

<Tip>
  Write as you would describe your product to an investor in 30 seconds — clear, direct, and without technical jargon. The report uses these answers to assess market potential, so the more precise you are, the more useful the analysis will be.

  Don't skip fields or leave generic values just to move faster. Vague answers lead to vague analyses. Spend 5 minutes here to get a report worth reading.
